I wanna second that to anyone on the Sunday ride....having an idea of the general portion of the course would be great!  I do know Toads will be integrated.  A few of us were thinkin about riding it later on Sunday, just that general area.

From what I can tell from the poster, the route will be shorter than last year, so i.e. it will be different.

Here is a video of last year's course to give you an idea of the terrain:

http://www.teamactionsports.com/foothillMTBlap/

I am very familiar with the trails there, and from that video, I don't think I could find the course from last  year.  There is a map posted somewhere on the net, but I don't remember where.  Besides it isn't this year's course, so it doesn't matter.

You could drop Sam Ames an email at: sam@teamactionsports.com and he might be able to send you a map.  I will also drop him an email and if he sends me a link, I will post it (if he doesn't mind).

If you get one and want someone to ride with, drop me an email, I am always up for a ride! (CrzyMD@yahoo.com). I have to work that weekend, so can't attend (sorry Sam, he asked me to be the race doctor, but can't make it). Anyways, would be fun to ride it! (...oh damn, another ride?)

I was a little curious about the course myself.  :-)

Just got this email from Sam Ames:

"For anyone interested, I will be doing a course pre-ride of the Foothill Classic MTB race course this Sunday Feb. 5th. at 8am. Meet at the “Cyclocross course” start area on Hill Rd. in Hart Park near the maintenance yard…do 1 lap SLOW for all levels then to each his own after. I plan on doing 4 laps total…..thanks, please share, post and I will try and schedule one more with at least a week’s notice…race flyer attached, should be green, fun and a good event!"

He is still finalizing the course and therefore nothing is yet posted.  Be there Sunday for a preview ride or/and stay tuned!

Everytime i see Sam Ames, i read it as Sam Adams.

Anyway. Thats awesome that hes showing everyone the course! I probably wont make it this week, but i'm definitely going the next time it comes up. Can never be too prepared for a race!

Sam is going to be at Hart Park Sunday at 8am (Hill Rd. near CX start) to lead a slow lap around the course.

So, there you go!

Awesome! Thank you.

I may be doing the race in Fresno on Sunday. I figured it would be good to help me get ready for the foothill classic, but then again, riding the actual corse may be better. enlightened

I just posted a new thread on the Foothill Classic course for everyone if you want to pre ride it.
